Hi, welcome my little wayside stop. I'm Paul and I live in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. This was my first attempt at a mulit page website, and was fun for a while, but I am putting more time now into my other site TheARTwerx, so please drop by for a visit.

Anyway, here are some postcard pictures that may be of interest to international visitors (strangely, there is nothing here related to fruit bearing hula girls).

BALLARAT

Here are some postcard images of Ballarat (in Victoria, Australia), just to show what it's like (or what the local tourist office wants you to think it's like!).

Downtown

Lake Wendoure (located within the town itself)

The Botanical Gardens (next to the lake)

Vintage Tram Museum (next to the Gardens)
(Ballarat had its own Tramway system up until 1971)

MELBOURNE

Here are some postcard images of Melbourne, state captial of Victoria, which is 110 km (70 m) east of Ballarat (about 90 mins drive down the Freeway on a good day).
